Description:
Join us as Cindy Booth and Jill English of Child Advocates in Indianapolis, Indiana share with the Network details on their groundbreaking program, Interrupting Racism for Children (IRFC). Child Advocates operates the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program serving Marion County.
Come learn about their unique two-day, interactive workshop where community members and
leaders have the opportunity to feel, heal and grow with one another to confront racism. IRFC educates and moves individuals to take action to stop racism in its tracks, creating a future where children thrive and race does not predict their life outcomes. Program participants leave the workshop with a greater sense of their own power and tools on how to interrupt the key elements designed to keep racism in place.
